BOW Magazine, nr. 32 | The Challenges of Compliance and Internationalisation

One of the challenges currently facing Portuguese companies is compliance and it is on this theme that BOW magazine focuses – The Challenges of Compliance in Internationalisation – with, as usual, analysis from various experts.

Amongst many issues, we learnt that the sectors that most seek to strengthen their governance model and thus compliance are also those where the level of regulation is highest. These include areas such as Information Technology, Retail and Health, the latter with exports expected to grow by 36 per cent by 2023 and subject to strict rules, particularly regarding clinical trials and the protection of patient data. To find out more about this topic, BOW publishes an interview with Vitor Ribeirinho, Senior Partner/CEO of KPMG Portugal, among other leaders.

But BOW magazine also publishes relevant articles on AEP’s work, namely a summary of the E-commerce Training Sessions, aimed at helping SMEs expand into international markets.

In total, there are six mentoring sessions held online and made available on the BOW Platform, each accompanied by a Strategic Kit that offers practical guidelines for implementing effective digital strategies. This is a resource that allows companies to adopt best practices and position themselves competitively in international markets.

Also noteworthy is the analysis of the Polish, Hungarian and Bulgarian markets, always accompanied by graphs based on data supplied by Accenture. There’s also a calendar of missions, fairs and events for all companies looking to pursue their internationalisation strategy.
