Entreprise Europe Network (EEN), business support on your doorstep

The Enterprise Europe Network is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups with international ambitions.  The Network is an initiative of the European Commission and is active in more than 65 countries worldwide. It brings together 3000 local experts from 605 member organisations.

The Enterprise Europe Network in Portugal is delivered regionally by eleven partners (including publicly funded and private organisations) and the Consortium comprises a lead partner, IAPMEI. 

EEN-PORTUGAL is specifically designed to help Portuguese SMEs become more innovative and more competitive through strategic information, support and advice.

 
 

 




What we do:

 
  • Business opportunities and strategic partnerships
The Enterprise Europe Network can help SMEs find the right international partnerships through matchmaking events and tailor-made missions, helping companies grow and expand abroad.
 
  • Advice
The Network strips out the jargon and tells SMES what the law boils down to and how it affects their business. The Network also gives advice on markets, identifies suitable funding sources and supports SMEs in their innovation activities.
 
  • Innovation management and technology transfer
The Network helps technology and innovation meet opportunity and helps companies access the right programmes to successfully implement research and development activities.
 
  • Other tools​
With strategic information being considered as a crucial tool, the Network shares newsletters with relevant information about Community legislation, business opportunities and public tenders.
